Jorni Machines & parts International (J.M.I.) is a trading and production company that found it’s basis in the since 1993 existing Jorni company. Where the company started in 1993 to offer services for the winding industry i.e. the winding of paper, foil and all kinds of other products as long as those are on a role. This service started with offering parts, however the demand of the market was of a higher level: not only parts but turn-key delivery. The company responded and moved several times and is nowadays located on the industrial area “Gooimeer” of Naarden.

Since 2001 the long year experience in winding is combined with a long year experience in laminating. For in this year the production of laminating machines started. This brought benefits for both lines: for laminating is strongly dependent of the quality of un- and rewinding whereas the know how of winding increased due to the wide range of materials that needs to be laminated (from rigid foils to stretchy lycras).

The changes in the company are not found in the program only, also the name changed over the years. Since 2005 the company is known under the name “Jorni Machines & parts International”. The changing in names is not always what one prefers but the actual name stands for what the company in fact represents and where it is represented.
